Gryndle

This is Gryndle. (The non-herm version 8D for herm version, see FA username pravusbelua.) She is another addition to my ghost monster world which is still yet unnamed x3 She's a demonlike predatory monster. Her hair (behind the head band) is just one solid, living leech which can consume prey much larger than itself and drain the victim of its blood and the majority of its muscle tissue by turning it to goo and absorbing it through the victim's skin in minutes, then spitting out the shriveled-up remains. The tail can also consume rather large prey, though its intentions are more for reproductive reasons... it devours a victim whole, absorbs its tissues and copies its genes, producing an egg which is birthed a couple months later. The interesting thing about Gryndle is that she is thus far the only ghost monster that can reproduce with living beings in the human realm by copying its dna and producing offspring which resemble that person, only more monstrous and carrying some of her own traits. The offspring is either a ghost monster or a living, breathing monster which can traverse between the human and monster dimensions at will.

As for personality/backstory:
Her human was an explorer. An exotic, dark, tall, beautiful woman who lived her life exploring even into her 50's when it became rough getting around the dense jungles she loved so much. One day, while wading through a swamp deep in the Amazon, she was unwittingly attacked by hordes of giant leeches. Already being severely anemic, she fainted into the water, and was then devoured by a group of caimans.

Gryndle herself is an explorer, and uses her ability to create offspring which can willingly pass through dimensions to try and gather information about the 'outside realm'. She is viewed as a teacher amongst the other monsters, and is practically worshiped as their queen for being blessed with such an ability. Though her offspring are about as hunger-driven as she is, and they often are swayed off-track by an appealing dog or child in which they can eat, often bringing their mother human or animal meals... or slaves. Though, anything from the human realm cannot live more than a few months in the monster realm due to the atmosphere having thin air and no real source of food other than the occasional treat Gryndle may bring them. Of all the monsters, she is most inconsiderate of human and animal life and thinks only of her children and the other monsters. Her greed may well give away the monster's realm to the humans one day if she doesn't learn to be more careful.
