Simple Stitches Tutorial

Description

I'm a derp and forgot to mention that it reads from upper left to bottom left, then upper right to bottom right.

Just a quick thing I figured I'd throw together, since I know a lot of people just draw simple lines to show stitches and often people say that they're too difficult to ink and color individually. I think this will help for those who feel the same as I do, that stitches should get proper attention when drawing plushies, plushie characters, other materials, stitched-up injuries, etc! :) Oh, I did this with SAI. I'm not sure if Photoshop has these same options used or not as I haven't used it in years. XD

I'll go ahead and say, I'm SURE there are even easier ways to do this and I probably managed to make it sound much more complicated than it actually is. It's your choice if you want to follow this precisely or just use it as inspiration and develop your own way. :)

I forgot to mention that, on the last step, I also lightened the inks to the layer with the wrinkling in the fabric, just to make the inks to the stitches stand out the most. You could skip that step altogether and just use shading to give the same effect. Be sure to hit download if anything's hard to see!

Also: Sorry for my atrocious handwriting, it's at least much better when I'm writing with something other than the tablet. D:
